Google Pack basically is collection of free softwares which includes browsers, instant messengers, antivirus tools and search tools. Google Pack has received no less than 600 million downloads in 2006, said its managers. Google lately updated its homepage of software suite, giving it a more freshy new interface which easy and fast access to the application included in the pack. Google also added a new feature that if you are browsing from a Apple system, it will redirect you to Mac OS version downloads.

All the downloads available in this pack is available for download as a free ware, which means that they are not offering you any paid software, and “also” this does not mean that Google Pack does not have any thing interesting to offer, Google Pack is offering Mozilla Firefox which is a really really good browser, the second most popular browser used after Internet Explorer. It is a really fast with easy to install interesting add-ons and the best of all it is more secure that any other browser i have used. Google tool bar makes it easy and handy to search. You can easily type it in the tool bar and Google will search it for you. Google bar comes with another good feature which is pop up blocker, which makes browsing less annoying.

Yahoo has been in business for a long time now and is a leading email service provider and hosts a search engine. Yahoo is been in business before Google but it seems that Yahoo progresses slow compared to Google, MSN, Ask and Aol.

Yes, I am talking about the search engine security development. Now the shocking part; Yahoo hosted the most number of malicious results with 3.6 percent of them containing adware and other threats while Google has only 1.9 percent while AOL is the cleanest search engine with 1.4 percent.

Since the previous security test in May 2006, most of the search engines including Google, Ask.com and Aol showed improvement while MSN and Yahoo security worsened.
