USB Flash Disk has become a part of our daily data traveling. You can easily use them anywhere and the best thing is that it is easy to handle. There Flash drives comes in a small toy-like shape, very light and not as heavy and fragile like the internal big hard disks.

These are available from 128 MB to 64 GB of size. As the sizes are constantly increasing most of us buy the new Flash Drives and sale the old ones. This software is a product of Cryptomax and comes with a price tag of $14.95 but don’t worry you don’t need to pay for its 30-days use with all the features fully functioning however, this downloadable free edition does not support all the USB drives and to get the full support you need to pay the price but it gives you room for testing the program.

The best part I love about this software is that it is really easy to handle as it guides you from the beginning to the end of the operation. You just need to click ‘Next’ and wait for the operation to be completed.

In the first step, you need to plugin your USB device, which you need to be cleaned and select it in the wizard and move on to the next step.

Clean USB offers you to clean the free space and completely remove the data of the stick which is completed by encryption algorithm, which overwrites the data on the Flash disk, At this point you must be wondering that why am I telling you this software and that you can easily delete the files in the Flash disk and empty the recycle bin. No, it does not remove the files, this operation only removes the name of the file and those files can easily be recovered by softwares. This software actually over writes the files, which means that it creates other files over your previous ones so the files written by this software would be recovered but not your personal files or data.

I have tried recovering the files from my Flash disk but this software really does the job done, I wasn’t able to recover them.

The bad part is that the operation of cleaning the usb might be a bit slow taking almost 20 mins to clean a 1GB disk. And I think that software should have included an estimated time till the operation would be over. Oh… one more thing, I gave my friend to test the software on vista and mark my words, “do not attempt to operate this software on Windows Vista”.

Apart from the Windows Vista bad part, this software is really awesome to try for 30 days.
