Awesome Tools To Change Your Windows XP Interface
Hello readers, you might have been experiencing some down time for my blog, my host was having some problem and it is fixed now while I had to update my domain settings to make everything okay and for today i will be making two amazing posts so lets get on with the post then.
Over the years, Windows has been evolving, bring in new stuff and better eye candy, like the latest of Windows Vista, which is full of these amazing graphics and features with better accessibility, so I am posting today for those users who might like a change after using the same interface of Windows XP for years and wants something really cool for their Windows.
Following are a few I discovered to enhance your experience and add more usability.
WinFip: This software gives you a feature much like in Windows Vista, and if upgrading your hardware for Windows Vista is a bit heavy on your pocket, then you may want to try downloading this little software. You need to extract this file and run its executable file to install it. And now the next time you press the Alt + Tab keys together, you will get an amazing 3D switching between multiple programs you are currently using. Check out this screen shot of the software. You can even customize this software to what ever you want it to be, like changing hot keys or change the way to switches or maybe switch between your multiple programs by a scroll on your mouse.
Glass2K: This amazing software adds transparent windows. You can specify the opacity you want in your opened windows and save these settings for your next use. Check out the screenshot.
True Transparency: I tried this tool and I m in love with it. This software gets you customized border (frames) of your windows, check out the screenshot to get the idea. You can even make the frames transparent if you wish or you can choose from four available skins to add to your windows borders.
Lebendig: Lebendig is animation software which you can use to animate your windows on launch and while closing it. You might not like it if compared to Compiz Fusion animations but it still get you your minimalistic animations for rotating, fading, stretching your windows, it’s a fun tool to play with, you may look at the screen shot to see the full options available.
UberIcon: This too is my personal favorite. It animates the icons, when you lauch any folder or application. There are number of animations available to choose from and you download plugins to get more animations.

Desk on top: You may love this software if you love keeping your desktop clean, and still want number of applications to be launched easily then Desk on top would be your software to try out. Once you install it, it gives you a copy of desktop which you can use by using it from your system tray, and launch any applications easily just as you would do from your desktop. It’s that easy. You can even hide you desktop icons and simply use this to launch applications. There are number of fun features to try out on this application.
