Change Removable Drive Icon
Its almost 5 in the morning and my eyes are literally craving for sleep right now… but ill write this simple and interesting tutorial for you guys =D Here goes…
Through this tutorial, you will be able to change the default icon of the removable drive that appears something like below to something interesting and of your choice.

And this look of your USB flash drive, memory cards can be changed by three simple steps:
- First you need to a find a good icon which you want to be as the icon. Make sure it is .ico extension.
- Then open Notepad and type the following text in the picture.

Here Label represent the text or name of the drive which you want to display when you open My Computer and put the icon name in from of the “Icon=” and save it as “autorun.inf”.
- Now when adding text to notepad is done, copy both the files (i.e autorun.inf and the Icon file) to the removable drive and safely remove the usb drive.
Now when you plug it back, you woud see the new customized icon instead of the old default one. You may hide these two files if they starts to annoy you but don’t delete them, otherwise you would lose the icon.
