Hello readers, I know I have been writing after an almost a week now, there was some problem with the host, the datacenters went down and we had to wait for couple of days to get the site up. I am glad it is working fine now, and I hope it wont be causing further problems.

About the topic now, I found these interesting things to do with Google and let me tell you this, all of them are amazing, I love them.

First one is using Google as a calculator. Yea… it is possible to do that, I too thought that how can a search engine be used as a calculator but it is works as amazing like a real calculator. You can try it too… open up Google Calculator. Put in 12*12 and you will get the product of 12 and 12, you can even solve this complex equation G*(6e24kg)/((4000miles)^2). This Google calculator works amazing on any equation you put in.

Ok, this second feature came in handy when I was expecting a letter through FedEx and wanted to track it and Google again came to work. You too can use it, just put in the tracking number into Google Search field and it will show you the details. This works with all major courier services like UPS, FedEx, U.S. Postal Service. You can even try putting in zip or area code you want to know or your own vehicle IDs.

Google has special search sites made, like if you are using firefox, you can click the home button on the top to search page like this. Also check out the Linux and Microsoft pages.

Ever wanted to get your site on the internet, well Google can help you do that… Visit Google Sites and easily setup your web page. You can easily learn making your website with the tools there, plus its free…

Also, you can take a peek at the Google Lab to check out what new is coming up like try the Experimental Search which is still being tried out for getting better search results.

Also try out Google Alert service which helps you keep updates on any stuff on the internet. Check out their page for different features.

If you have found any thing fun or useful on the web and use firefox, well you can send this useful piece of information to your cell phone if you are living in USA. This Google Send to Phone service is really helpful sending Maps to your cell phone. Check the FAQ for more information.

The fun with Google doesn’t end here, get the Google Cheat Sheet (two pages PDF) which tell you more about better searching with Google. A must try I would suggest.

Another eBook I would recommend is the 55 Ways to Have Fun with Google, which tell you about games and more nonsense to do with Google, enough to keep you busy whenever you are bored. This awesome 228-page book kept me busy with The Image Quiz, through which you have guess the search term for Google from number of images. You can learn number of magic trick and even read IRC chat logs which people think aren’t public, and take a look at some real funny Google parody sites like UnderGoos, an underwear search engine. I loved it =D
