Make an Image Your Password

It is always difficult remember all the passwords of your different accounts passwords and yet being safe from the hackers attacks of using dictionary to break into the accounts.

Well lately some researchers, came up with different mediums to use them as your password like a picture, a song or your favorite video and the answer came in the form a software; ObPwd

First, let my tell you, this is still an experimental tool and please do not use it with your sensitive accounts, read their disclaimer.

To begin with, get the ObPwd and then you need to choose a some text, or a photo or an image, or a song, or a video.

Ill guide you with using an image with this tool. I used a random image of a painting to try the ObPwd tool. Lets say Ill use my Gmail account password with it.

Once the image you want to use as a password is opened, right click on it and select “Get ObPwd” from image and something like in the screenshot comes up:

Put in the password you want in the empty box and the next time you wont need to type in your password, you just have to right click this image, and copy paste the password and log into your account or you may use it as a reminder if you forget a password. So you can choose other images to store your different passwords.

This is a lot secure as you may choose a really difficult password like put in “AnmuDS51S” as you won’t be remembering the password and the image will do it for you, so you are safe from the dictionary attack, giving a tough job for the hacker to invade your account.

Ill tried using it with YouTube videos but couldn’t, the option in the right click menu did not appeared. As for a song to use it for your password, I couldn’t try that too cause Ill have to find a legal song to upload, you can sure try if you have them and tell me in the comment box if it worked for you.
