Its hardly been a week since Apple release the iPhone software 2.0.1 which said to have included the bug fixes. After the previous update, the issue of signal strength wasn’t solved and the performance wasn’t impressive either.

So, yesterday Apple rolled out its iPhone software 2.0.2. At the Apple Discussions, people have reported a better browsing speded and no lag while typing. You too can get the update from the iTunes 7.7 easily.

While on the other side at the Apple Discussion, people also reported of problem using their applications saying that their application closes as he tries to launch them.

Apple tells us that when a user tries to update their iPhone from version prior to 2.0(1.x) to a more recent version(2.0 or later), all their data would be erased to perform this update. Other wise if you are upgrading from 2.0.1 to 2.0.2, the media and setting would remain intact.

While each time you sync with iTunes or Update or Restore in iTunes, you iPhone or iPod Touch is backed up each time while download applications, contacts, calenders, images, audio, video are not included in the backup.

I would suggesting using your iTunes 7.7 (or later) to manually get your iPhone or iPod Touch backed up. You can do that by right clicking of the iPhone or iPod Touch icon in iTunes and then select Back Up or Restore from backup.

Also, i am not sure about the Pwnage tool update, i dont know if the jail break works with this Firmware Update rolled out from Apple. Do let me know in the comment box if it does.
