Searching the web is something we all today daily, whether its you want information about a report you are using or the latest iPhone firmware thats coming up. For all of you guys i have a compiled a list of search plugins you can use with your Firefox to make searching even better.

Lookpick is the first on the list which is a new plugin which places a box in your firefox, something like in the screenshot below and lets you setup a personal list, that means that you use your list of favorite search engines from searching anything on the internet. Its amazing must get plugin.

CacheIt! is another awesome plugin to search a site when it is down or not working for your internet service provider. This plugin searches the cache pages of the site you want to search and gives you the search results.

Cooliris is provides an awesome 3D searching for Images and Videos. Check out the screenshot.

With CyberSearch, you wont need to open any search engine, you can easily type in the search keywords on your address bar, and you are done.

If you need definitions instantly without opening any dictionary, get Dict plugin to solve your issue. With just a right click, you can easily get the word definitions

Find In Tabs comes really handy when you have number of sites opened in your Firefox browser and you want to search a keyword from all those sites.

Surf Canyon ranks the search and recommends the most suitable result based on the users choice and can collect information that are not displayed in the normal search results.

Customize Google plugin removes the unwanted ads, and adds you search options for different search engines.

Another tip for better searching for specific keywords from the site would be using the search keyword in Firefox. Hold “Ctrl + F” and a search field will open where you can type in search any keyword from the site.
