Well, as the title gives a hint about fixing your computer when it is crashed, today, ill tell you guys on how to use the system restore feature on Windows XP, to fix revert your computer to your previous working conditions.

This tutorial would come really handy to those guys who aren’t a pro at computer and can simply fix their crashed computers.

As I have explained earlier, system restore helps you fix your pc when it giving really weird registry errors and wont work fine for you any more. You can easily use the system restore feature to restore your computer to your previous working conditions. This comes really handy when you install any application and suddenly your computers start giving weird error and best of all, your personal data and programs won’t be removed, so your pictures and movies are safe.

To use system restore, click on Start button on the bottom left screen, use the search to find system restore, and then click system restore ad then easily follow the steps in the wizard. You may also be asked your password when doing the system restore.

In the system restore, it might suggest you a recent recovery point, make sure you select the right date when your computer was perfect. You can also choose from the list for your recovery point.

After you select the restore point, system restore will restart your computer and your job is done. Also, do not unplug your computer during the restoration process or cancel it in the process, or you might get yourself into more troubles. After the restart is complete, you will get a notification that your system is restored.

And if the system restore never worked for you, it can easily guide you to undo the restore and you can later choose another restore point or undo it completely.
