Make Password Protected Partition On USB Drive
Today, I found out this amazing freeware with which you can easily create passsword protected encrypted partitions on your USB drive. It came really handy, when I had to share my USB with a friend of fine and I had some family photos and videos on it. To avoid copying all the stuff to my PC and later copy back to USB drive, I found this freeware called Rohos Mini Drive.
The feature it offers is its awesome security. It does not show the used partition volume if somebody checks the space left on the USB drive when the partition is hidden. Also, you won’t need any special program to edit or open your password protected partition. It will prompt you a password and you can easily access your partition, you won’t even need the Administrative Privileges for it.
With a couple of clicks, it setups your protected partition on your USB flash drive, plus the encryption is automatic and later access it easily by providing your password. You can open your secured partition on any computer by selecting the Rohos icon on the USB flash drive root folder and just enter the password to use it, you wont need any other software to install to access your partition. It also offers a virtual keyboard to protect your password from keyloggers.
The only downside I found out was that I was able to create a partition for 1GB only, other than that it is a must try freeware, and is really awesome for beginner users, you wont need any computer experience to manage it.
