Earlier I wrote a post 5 Awesome Gmail Features to try out, and today I found these 5 cool features of Gmail Labs. Gmail has always been my favorite web-based email service and it keeps getting better with these awesome features they come up with for better user experience.

First to start off you need to enable the Gmail Labs features. To do that, login to your Gmail account, go to Setting, Labs and browse through all the features available and enable them to try on your Gmail account. Following are the 5 Gmail Labs features I found really useful.

- Undo Sent Emails

This has been really useful at times when you send an email accidently (or later change your mind about the thing you wrote) and wish that the email you sent could just burn before it reaches the receivers inbox, well, Google is to the rescue. You can undo any accidental sent email with selecting “Undo Send” feature from the Gmail Lab Features. But this feature only works after couple of seconds you send the email, so hope you’re not too late before you realize your mistake and undo the sent email.

- Preview Yelp, Picasa, Flickr & YouTube in mail

Google introduced this really helpful feature with which if you receive a Yelp, Picasa or YouTube link in your mail, you wont have to open it is a new browser to view it, you cane easily preview it in your mail.

- Multiple Inboxes

Yes, it is possible. Gmail now support to create multiple inboxes within your Gmail account in which you can save all your important mails and helps you sort out any particular mails from a receiver like any bank statements you may be receiving. It enables you to create upto 5 multiple inboxes.

To enable this feature, go to Settings -> Multiple Inboxes. You will see something like in the screenshot below.

- Mail Goggles:

Ever had an incident when you are really sleepy and you try replying the mail you just received from your boss and want to get your mind working so that you don’t send a stupid reply? Well Mail Goggle will come handy in putting your mind back to work by making you solve Math equations.

You can select time and date at which the Mail Goggle will be enabled, and you can select the difficultly level under Settings-> Generals.

- Your Location in Signature

With this feature, whenever you send an email, it puts your current location in your sent email signature, like if you are currently visiting London, the city will appear in your send email signature. This is a really cool feature for travelers.

You can enable this feature under Settings->General and selecting “Append you location to the signature” below the signature box. If you want some fun out of this feature, you can manually change your current location to any place in any country and let your email receivers to wonder about how you are visiting an beautiful city.
