Add Gmail Alerts To Windows 7 Taskbar

windows7logoWindows 7 is the latest OS being expected from Microsoft which is ready for its official release on 22 October 2009, which was announced earlier by senior vice president for Microsoft’s Windows business, Bill Veghte and said that, Windows 7 will be available on the new PCs as well as the on the store shelves.

To get you geared up for its official release, i found this really cool freeware which comes really handy for the Gmail users. This simple application displays your unread emails count, including pop up messages preview, right on your Windows 7 taskbar.

Once you install the application, you will be promted to provide the login details for your Gmail account and after that, the application will start to show the unread count and will preview your unread emails when you hover your mouse over the icon and a simple click will directly take you to your inbox or compose page.

This simple application is a free download for Windows 7 only. Check out the screenshots below:
