My friends have been complaining about poor laptop battery performance and i am sure it gets really annoying when you need your laptop for urgent projects and the battery crashes.
I found this really lite application called BatteryCare which monitors your battery performance and optimizes it to maximum level so your battery performance is excellent.
Features:
- This software monitors the discharge cycles on your laptop battery and when ever a complete charge is required a balloon would pop up to let you know.
- Displays detailed statistics about the remaining time you can use your laptop and details about the manufacturer stats and capacity of the battery.
- You can select from different power plans you want to use or set up your own on how much power you want to supply to different laptop components.
- You can contol the Windows Aero feature aswell which drains most of the battery or disable the graphics accelerated themes, and once you out your laptop back to power all the settings will be restored to normal.
- The application is really lite, hardly uses 0.1% of processor and memory resources.
