The device of MagicJack is simple plug and play femtocell technology and it is the smallest and probably the cheapest in the telecommunication industry. The device is compatible with almost all cell phones and also with any service providers.

This device of MagicJack uses the wireless spectrum in connecting your cell phone to the USB device. Since the wireless spectrum is not owned inside anyone’s homes, so they can easily slip through all the legal loopholes and use the spectrum. In simple words, the MagicJack’s femtocell bypasses mobile operators completely. This device can be used with any GSM cell phones and on any band, even locked mobile phones. The MagicJack device is a USB connector of the size of matchbox that plugs into the computer. It loads software onto it and it makes use of the computer power, processor and broadband connection. It uses the computer to make calls but with the cell phone and not with wired phones.
