Google is planning to launch movie rental service on YouTube. YouTube is partnering with Sundance films to launch movies at this video sharing website. Initially YouTube is planning to launch five movies and these five movies are:

• Bass Ackwards
• The cove
• One too many mornings
• Homewrecker
• Children of invention

These movies will be available from 31^st of January. Apart from these movies YouTube will soon launch more movies. YouTube is still hunting for partner websites and Google is inviting all its partners to participate in this rental service. The partners will be able to broadcast their movies by paying a little rent. Google hopes that this will bring more videos and users to YouTube which is already top viewed tube website on the internet.

Google hops that this service is going to attract a lot of users as people are already fed up by buying DVDs. This will help them to enjoy their favorite movie at any time without any copyright issues.

How successful this service is going to be? This only time will tell.
