The iSlate which is rumoured to be the upcoming tablet is a computing device from Apple. iSlate is sometimes referred as Apple Tablet or iPad. Apple still hasn’t given any confirmation regarding the development of a tablet which would be named iSlate.

This iSlate is expected to be a 10 inch multi-touch display made by Innolux which is a subsidiary of Foxconn. The large screen would be a major hit for videos and movies. It is supposed to have a webcam and a 3G modem. The price is estimated to be less than an Apple notebook but more than the iPhone. The features included in this iSlate would be computer software, database management software, email, SMS, tables , graphs, software for word processing, software for creation and display of presentations that would include text and graphics and software used for image editing.

Mobile industry experts are giving different speculation on the features of the iSlate. It is also expected to have two cameras one in the front and one in the back. The front one is supposed to be used for video calling. It may have multi-touch, multitasking, Wi-Fi wireless networking, and a long battery life. So after a full press release of the iSalte only one can be sure of all its features.
