Earlier Facebook introduced its feature with which you can select a username for your profile like facebook.com/anything. This is similar to that of My Space idea of getting a profile username but this feature was quite expected from Facebook and is now really appreciated as people can find the right person easily.
When the username selection began, facebook did not allowed users to change them after they selected the username which was quite harsh from facebook side. Couple my friends wanted to change the profile username but were not able to.

Although the first astronauts landed on the moon on July 20, 1969 when Apollo 11 touched down, and now for all of those who ever wish to explore moon without actually going there, Google has added Moon features to Google Earth.
Most of the images are really amazing, the Apollo landing site, astronauts foot steps and other really cool tours. This is really useful for the young ones who fantasize to go to Moon and see Moon.

Earlier I told you guys about an application which automatically shuts down computer and I found this really cool trick to make a few commands in your command prompt to shutdown computer with command prompt.
This trick goes one step further than the application I told you about. With this trick you can even shutdown computers on your network if you have administrative access. Specify time, add comments (the reason for shutdown), or even restart computers on network.

Earlier i told you guys on creating PDF files through third party software, and today while i was going through other blogs i found a really simple way on creating PDF files using the google docs. No third party softwares or anything is required for the procedure.
If you have not been using Google Docs for making documents or presentation, well not you have a reason to start using it. Google Docs a free service from Google which is an online alternate to on creating documents, spreadsheets, or presentations online. You can use your Google account to sign in and use the service free. You can even back up the files to your computer by using the tutorial we shared with you guys earlier here.

PDF format has been there for years now and you must have come across alot of documents in PDF format which can be read using the Acrobat Reader or Foxit PDF reader we told you earlier . When you are done reading the document, you must have thought editing the document or maybe creating one for yourself so you may share it with your friends or use it for your official purpose.

A week back me and my friends went out for a road trip to the mountains and i was supposed to get my digital camera with me. When i checked the memory status on my camera memory card, it showed 90% used. So, i removed the old pictures i had on the memory card and thought i had already copied them to my hard drive on computer which i did not and that’s i was so
I tried searching everywhere on the web to find something that can recover my deleted pictures from the digital camera and after number of tries to find the right software who actually worked, I settled on PC Inspector Smart Recovery.

VLC media player has to be my favorite video player. I used Windows Media Player earlier but whenever i tried playing a video i received from a friend with a different codec it would display the annoying message of playback failure.
With VLC media player you dont need to install any external codec to play video. VLC supports almost any sort of media formats that you can even imagine.
And now the new version of VLC media player comes equipped with the equalizer settings which makes the movie experience even better. VLC even supports HD video formats. Check out their features list here.

This is a simple application which runs a fake format of Drive C: which usually contains the Windows files and application settings on the computer. Once the application start, you cannot close the stop or pause the application what so ever and once the process gets complete a message is displayed that it was a joke.

Earlier i wrote about the Kingston 128 GB USB which i thought was the most expensive USB that could ever come to the market but a Japanese company, Toshi Sotaji Design came up with an aluminium USB which costs 1,000,000 Yen which makes US$10,000 and it comes in a storage space of only 16 GB.
This USB drive is a giant puzzle of five aluminum cubes and to use the USB drive you need to disassemble the blocks to find the flash drive, so if you are in a hurry, you will at least need 10 minutes time to sort the pieces out so you can transfer the data.
