Gravity Blue Gets A New Look!

As i told you guys earlier that i had been planing some changes to the blog, we’ll now you get to see the changes coming your way.

We switched to this really awesome theme, a simple blue and white elegant touch which makes reading the content even easier. Added the Subscribe to Feed logo on the right side of the blog, which goes really well.

I am currently working on a logo which will appear at the top of the blog, where the text “Gravity Blue” appears…

I have also added the About page, where you can find details on what the blog is about.

Google Wave: The Next Big Thing?

And We’re Back Once Again

Yes readers, after a break for a month or so, we’re back once again to get you all fired up with everything from internet and any where! During all this break, as I told you guys earlier that I will planning on pushing boundaries for my blog and now is the time I tell you guys on what I have thought for the blog.

To push the readers experience, I have planned my blog to not only stick with technology and internet stuff but now, you will find also humor, sports and music on the blog, which adds up to become a personal blog. I have added the Humor section on the right side of my blog, I’ve got my really good fried Nauman geared up with all his amazing humor skills to entertain you about anything from humorous movie critics to any fun he finds in technology, and trust me, he is amazing at this job!

Time Out…!

Its been an amazing time for almost 10 months now, sharing technology, internet tutorials with you guys but I will have to discontinue for about a month. I really apologize.

I have my AS level examination coming up so I will have to put in all the efforts to my studies and I am afraid I wont be able to put in enough time for my blog.

I hope my subscribers will stick around. And you those who havn’t subscribed to my blog, use the links on the top right of my blog to subscribe through RSS and email.

As much as I love USB devices to carry around my data, I equally find them irritating as each time I connect my USB to other computers, I usually find them full of virus and at times those virus become quite a pain when anti virus fails to clean them.

Undo Closed Tab In Firefox

It gets really irritating when you have number of tabs opened in your firfox and you try freeing up some space by closing some tabs and accidentally you close the one you needed.

If you are good at firefox shortcuts, then a Ctrl+Shift+T would reopen the tab you just closed accidentally, and if you have closed multiple tabs then it will take some time for you to find the tab you closed accidentally.

Secure Your Home Network

If you neighbor has been leeching off your home network and messing around will the things you have shared over the network, then its about time you add protection to your home network will the three following things I am about to share.Through this tutorial, I will guide you through on setting up your router settings to enable maximum protection, by turning off SSID broadcasting, allowing only certain MAC addresses and enable the encryption.

Turning off SSID broadcasting

Open your browser and type in 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and hit Enter. You will be prompted to enter your username and password to login. The default username is admin and the default password is password, if you haven’t changed it off course.

Create Hidden Text Files Without Using Any Third Party Software

Today, I found this really cool trick with which you can create hidden text files without using any third party software but your very own trusty notepad. With this trick you can hide text data in a file, and the file create from this process will not show up in DOS or in Windows irrespective of the hidden and system display settings and can only be accessed if you know the correct file name you used during its creation.

Earlier I wrote a post 5 Awesome Gmail Features to try out, and today I found these 5 cool features of Gmail Labs. Gmail has always been my favorite web-based email service and it keeps getting better with these awesome features they come up with for better user experience.

Windows 7 Logon Pack for Windows XP

Windows 7 is being expected the next big thing from Microsoft. Although Windows Vista could not prove itself to be a really impressive OS but people (including me) have high hopes for Windows 7. I tried installing the beta version and it is really good, the boot up timing is improved from Windows Vista.

Now getting to the post now, I found this really cool Windows 7 Logon Pack for Windows XP and 2003. It changes the login screen of Windows XP to that of Windows 7. Check out the screen shot below.
