Earlier i wrote a tutorial on using your Gmail inbox as your Gmail Drive, and today i found this really awesome freeware to easily backup your files to Gmail, in other words, send to gmail.
A simple right click on the files and selecting Backup to Email will send the selected file to your Gmail inbox, storing it as an email. Large files can be slit and zipped to make them smaller in size. You can also schedule the backup so you can avoid right clicking to bakup a file to Gmail.

Alright people, yesterday was the long waited 9th September on which Apple promised all the new stuff. Yesterday, at the Apple’s Lets Rock Event, Apple rolled out the iTunes 8, iPod Nano 4G (all the rumored images proved to be correct), iPod Touch 2G. Awesome.
Lets begin with the latest iTunes 8. The latest media management and playback software by Apple, features the latest recommendation engine, new visualizers, the latest grid view, and new terms & conditions.
The recommendation engine works amazing when you select a song in iTunes and it displayes a list of recommendations related to the song you have selected, i really loved the feature.
When you use this feature, you have to agree to the terms & conditions and then it will gather the songs information to your iTunes library. All the processing time depends on the song library you have on your computer and the computer you are using. Then, it will send the information to Apple and will build you a profile based on the likes and dislikes, which will the enable you to use the amazing recommendation feature in the sidebar of your iTunes.

My friend has always been complaining about his new Windows Vista PC being really slow and I couldn’t explain why was it really slow as the hardware specification were alright but the PC was still slow.
When I went to his place to give a check on his new PC, I discovered it wasn’t the new PC that was the real issue but Window Vista itself. His windows had no errors or registry errors, but the unnecessary features by Windows Vista were slowing down the PC and to fix the issue, I identified almost 10 of them. Most of them were graphics and optional utilities which were hardly used but still used most of the computer resources.
To begin with, I wouldn’t tell you guys to disable all the features I m suggesting but you can look into the features you use and might not disable them. Also, during the process if your computer starts to act weird, you can always consider restoring your computer to the previous working conditions of your choice.

Yesterday, on 2nd September, Google rolled out its web browser, Google Chrome. Google introduced this browser as an experimental candidate and you too can give it a try.
After I downloaded the Chrome Google, I noticed some interesting stuff they introduced to this browser.
- First was an amazing interface Google Chrome offered. A really simple and elegant blue touch to the browser. Next thing was the suggestion tool I really loved; it suggests you search key words and web pages.
- The browsing speed was amazing too… really “lightning” as they mentioned in the description. They have designed an improved Javascript which is yet is planned for the new firefox. This new V8 Javascript engine, makes the javascripts processing really fast, especially for the Gmail like scripts, it opens at an amazing speed.
