I found this really cool trick when i was checking on my PC settings and came to know that i can add virtual RAM to my PC by using extra disk space. So, my 4 GB USB drive which i hardly use, came to work at last and now i use it as a virtual RAM in Windows XP. And yeah… That is not a donut but a working USB drive!
To begin with, insert the USB drive you want to use as the virtual RAM to the USB port. Make sure you don’t have any important data on your USB drive. Rename it, RAM. Right click on the drive and select format. Select quick format option and select NTFS from file system. This will remove all the data from the USB and make the USB good as new to be used as RAM.

I found this really cool application with which you can easily schedule your computer to auto shutdown, hibernate, log off or go stand by. This worked really great for me when i had to go to sleep and i could not wait for the downloads i had put on. I could just easily configure the software so as the download completes, my computer shuts down automatically and for the last few days it works brilliant!
With WinMend Auto Shutdown application, you just need to configure the date and timing and it would automatically work. Once you configure the tool, it remains on your taskbar while you can continue working on your computer without any distractions.
