Google is planning to launch movie rental service on YouTube. YouTube is partnering with Sundance films to launch movies at this video sharing website. Initially YouTube is planning to launch five movies and these five movies are:
- Bass Ackwards
- The cove
- One too many mornings
- Homewrecker
- Children of invention
These movies will be available from 31st of January. Apart from these movies YouTube will soon launch more movies. YouTube is still hunting for partner websites and Google is inviting all its partners to participate in this rental service. The partners will be able to broadcast their movies by paying a little rent. Google hopes that this will bring more videos and users to YouTube which is already top viewed tube website on the internet.
Google hops that this service is going to attract a lot of users as people are already fed up by buying DVDs. This will help them to enjoy their favorite movie at any time without any copyright issues.
How successful this service is going to be? This only time will tell.
There are number of internet radio stations i listen and most of the time i want the songs I listen on my computer so that i can later listen to it and for that i found this really cool freeware to record music from internet radio, mp3 my mp3 recorder.

One of the major issues people usually complain is about the weak signal strength of the wireless connection. Earlier Facebook introduced its feature with which you can select a username for your profile like facebook.com/anything. This is similar to that of My Space idea of getting a profile username but this feature was quite expected from Facebook and is now really appreciated as people can find the right person easily.
When the username selection began, facebook did not allowed users to change them after they selected the username which was quite harsh from facebook side. Couple my friends wanted to change the profile username but were not able to.

Although the first astronauts landed on the moon on July 20, 1969 when Apollo 11 touched down, and now for all of those who ever wish to explore moon without actually going there, Google has added Moon features to Google Earth.
Most of the images are really amazing, the Apollo landing site, astronauts foot steps and other really cool tours. This is really useful for the young ones who fantasize to go to Moon and see Moon.

Firefox released their latest version Firefox 3.5, which features a lot of new security fixes, also allows you to customize firefox really easy and the private browsing feature with which you can browse privately and your browsing history will not be shared to others using firefox.
One annoying thing i noticed in Firefox 3.5 was the automatic virus scan which initiates itself as the download completes and when you are downloading alot of files it takes years to scan to the file so we can use it. I tried going through the settings to disable this feature but could not, so today i found the other way round to disable this feature through the config page.

Facebook has to be my favorite social network and today, Joe from Facebook developers posted a note at facebook to tell us about the new facebook application for iPhone 3.0.
Although the exact date of the release is not mentioned on the note but it says that 98% of the development is complete on the facebook application and will be out very soon.
Facebook application did not see much changes on the last apart from the language enhancements but now an impressive list of improvements are mentioned on the new coming facebook application.

Firefox released its 3.5 version on 27 may, which brought about bug fixes and security issues which was earlier reported by the users. Tab browsing is made even better which includes a “+” on beside the tab with a single click, it opens a new blank tab. Anti-Phishing & Anti – Malware sites are also blocked and the list is updated.
Firefox 3.5 portable version works same as the version which is available for download on the official site but the portable version does not require any installation to use. You just double click the single icon and it works the same way as a normal browser.
Even if you have an older version of firefox installed and feel like testing the new version for the add-ons you are using, you can easily download this simple application and try it out, your previous installation will not be effected by the use of the portable version.
