Apple, on July 2,published a press release to new iPhone 4 users about the famous reception problem when gripping the phone in the left hand. Apparently, the problem is not a faulty design of Apple. It seems that Apple had a faulty formula that showed the reception higher than it really is and this causes a high amount of loss in reception when the phone is handled tight in hand. Earlier Apple released its OS 3.0 firmware for iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3GS but recently it got hit by a wave of iPhone users who noticed that a simple SMS could remotely take over the victim’s iPhone and control the iPhone.
And now Apple came out with the security fix in the form of OS 3.0.1 firmware which fixes the security flaw. It is advised that all the iPhone users must upgrade to the latest firmware so that they don’t fall to the SMS exploit security flaw.

With Samsung and other mobile giants saturating the mobile phone Industry with several high-end mobile gadgets, it was time that Apple hits back.
The much awaited and anticipated Apple’s mobile monster, the Apple iPhone returns, this time with a bunch of staggering upgrades most of which have already been leaked out. The question however still remains… Are they enough?

Yes people, the wait is over at last as Apple unveils in much awaited iPhone OS 3.0 on 18th March and it comes loaded with the requested features by the people for iPhone and iPod Touch.
Following are few of the new features which the new update comes with.
- With the new iPhone OS 3.0, you can download content with applications like you can buy extended features offered by an application or in game.
- iPhone OS 3.0 enables Peer-to-Peer connectivity to other iPhones; you can play multiplayer games on with other iPhones through Bluetooth. I am still not sure if you can connect your iPhone with other Bluetooth supporting hand sets.

Earlier, Facebook release its application for iPhone, version 2.0. After its first release of version 1.1, Facebook rolled out its version 2.0 late September which comes with an amazing interface.
The older version of Facebook application supported the News Feed feature, mobile photo uploads and status updates, while in the v2.0, the News Feed are displayed in a new way, displaying, wall posts, relationship updates and news about your friends displayed on your main news page. It had hardly been 2 days after the release of the iPhone firmware 2.0.2 when Steve Jobs confirmed the release of the next iPhone firmware and it was rolled out on the 9th September, with iTunes 8, new iPod Nano 4G and iPod Touch.
After the two firmware releases i.e. 2.0.1 and 2.0.2, iPhone users complained about the dropped calls and weak signal strength while the typing lag was fixed in the firmware 2.0.2 but a new problem with the third party application popup as when the iPhone users tried launching the application, it would suddenly close and on 9th September, Apple released its Firmware 2.1 addressing to the 3rd party application problems, weak signal strengths, poor battery life and slow backups.
Apple has come up with number of promises for the iPhone customers which includes improved email reliablity for both POP and exchange users, installation and working of the third party application is improved and the contacts search is also made better.
